My sister made me a cake for my birthday. It is chocolate. My sister is also cutting and coloring my hair for my birthday. My sisters husband is giving my flowers. We will watch tv as a family after that. I love birthdays.

I'm getting my haircut and colored on the 9th. It will be colored black. Like Selena the singer. My birthday is on the 12th at my sister's house. My sister will give me a credit card, and my aunt will give me money and a ring. We are going to have cheesecake, chips, cherry coke, and we will go shopping for a coloring book. Then I will go home and watch a scary movie. I liked scary movies since I was a little baby. I love birthdays.

Laurie is excited to play Einstein in the performance

Veronica misses Helana because she has a good heart

This weekend I'm going to watch some scary movies. I'm going to watch Freddy Krueger, Chuckie, and Halloween. I'm going to eat some popcorn with cheese while watching the movies. I love watching scary movies. My mom can't watch scary movies. She is scared of snakes. I'm excited about watching these movies.

Adam has great memories with his Aunt Char

When I was a kid I went to Johnson's Park with Aunt Char. We would see the harness racing horses in the big barns. We would walk around the barns for hours then when we got hot we would go back to the big guy's old house to go swimming.

Rob was forced to switch special olympic teams last weekend

on Saturday I was glad to be playing for the jags but when I was ready to bat the coach told me that I might be playing for the panthers team I was shocked to be playing for the panthers team. The coach didn't tell me why  he said if the panthers is one player short I 'll have to play for the panthers. I don't like to play for the panthers. My life is with the jags. Why is this happening to me now? I was hoping that coach will understand that I play for the jags and only the the jags.

Marie is looking forward to some cool activities in the next couple of days

Today is a good day, because: we are alive, respected, healthy, and having a "fun-tastic" day!!  I hope that whoever reads this will pass along the positivity, and brighten somebody else's day!  I'm looking forward to a good day with art class, and having a good lunch.. Its my nephew Xavier's birthday this weekend and we are having a party for him. He's turning 3. He can talk and gives me kisses and hugs. We are going to eat chocolate cake and have some pop. I love family birthday parties.

Adam remembers a very fun zoo from his childhood

The first zoo went to is the terry lou zoo. I saw the hoses first then i would go in the ape house to see all the apes. Then i would go out back to see louise and sparky and saba the elephant tt was so cool there it was my favorite  place in the world.It was the best place because  it smelled so good even the ape house smelled good. And by the way holly the chimp loved showing off for people The zoo is gone now but i will always remember all the good times i had at the terry lou zoo.

This weekend I'm getting my hair colored. I'm getting my hair colored red. I like the color red in my hair. Then I am going to color in one of my ten coloring books. My princess coloring book is my favorite. I talked to my dad last night and I'll talk to him again on Sunday. I can't wait.

Mark is going to visit his mother who just got out of the hospital this weekend

This weekend I am probably going to my parents house to see how my mothers doing after her operation..Otherwise, I do not think I will be doing anything. My mom was in the hospital I think for 3-5 days and I hope she is doing fine.

Rob is a big fan of the gold medal winning gymnastics team

I wish I met the famous USA gymnastic team because I'd love meet Aly Risman Mckayla and Jordan and one last person gabby. She is dynamite on the dance floor. If I was there  I will ask them on a date most with Mckayla because she my favorite of all times. And I have this big crush on her and also in love with her I wish I was her boyfriend. The two us will have so much fun and in love Like for ever.

Friday I watched the opening ceremonies. On Saturday I then watched the men's bicycle race. Then I went out to dinner at Applebee's with my sister and mom. On Sunday I went to church and then I went home and watched women's tennis. I had a nice weekend.

I play basketball. I play basketball because it's fun. It's fun learning how to pass, shoot, and rebound. You have to put your hands up on defense to block the shots. I'm good at basketball. I'm the best on my team. We got 1st place in the Special Olympics. I was the leading scorer for my team. It was a lot of fun

I'm going to my aunts cottage near Sodus for the 4th of July. We are staying over night. We usually have hamburgers and hotdogs on July 4th. We are also going to play cards and horseshoes. I love the 4th of July.

Veronica went shopping three times on Sunday

I went shopping three times yesterday. Me and my mom went food shopping, we went shopping for a coloring book for me, and we went shopping for candy for me. We bought chocolate, and we also bought white chocolate. For dinner we ate turkey mashed potato's and gravy. I also called my dad last night, and he is sending me twenty dollars. I had a great Sunday.

I liked the performance yesterday. I liked it because I like to sing and dance. My mom couldn't come because my nephew was sick. I was an oompa -loompa in the performance. It was fun. I danced with Vanessa. I like Vanessa. She is my teacher. Everyone had a good time.

Jamel watched a documentary on A&E this weekend along with a bunch of other programming

This weekend I watched 20th century with Mike Wallace and that show aired on A& E  and in this episode they were talking about Iran and Mike Wallace was acting as host.They also covered the JFK assassination. Stacy Keech is a good guy. He played the role of Mike Hammer and Mike Hammer was part of the CBS special movie that I watched this weekend.  The Rifleman stars Chuck Connors as Lucas McCain, another show I watched this weekend.  The Rifleman aired on me T.V.  in the same time slot and it aired between 5 and 5 30 and then Chuck Connors appeared in Branded. Branded is another one of my favorite shows that airs on me T.V. Saturdays at noon.

Marcus is going camping this weekend with his housemates

Tomorrow after I get out of program my house and a couple of other houses are going camping at Letchworth State Park. We are going to stay until Sunday and are coming back before dinner. Jamel signed up to audition for the show The Voice

I'm really excited that I just signed up to audition to be on The Voice. On the show there's some team coaches I don't know, but hopefully I'll get to know them. I watch The Voice every week and I would be totally excited to be on it. This is exciting.

Chris loves movies about the 19th century

My favorite movie is Beauty and the Beast. Beauty and the Beast is an awesome movie. I always wanted a southern belle like the main character Belle. I also love stories about the 19th century. I love the fact that the Beast wanted to learn how to read. I encourage reading and Belle does to. What a great movie

Deepesh is planning to sit back and relax on Memorial day

I'm going to respite tonight and have dinner with my friends. I'll go home tomorrow afternoon, then I'll have church at my house. We are going to have a lot of people over. Then we'll have dinner together and eat Indian food. Monday I'm just going to sit back and relax and eat less food. I'm also going for a walk.

Marcus is participating in a Special Olympics swimming tournament

I'm in a swimming tournament. I'm a pretty good swimmer. My best stroke is the freestyle. I'm going to be swimming the 100 yard freestyle and the 50 yard freestyle. They haven't decided on relays yet. The tournament is going to be held in Mt Morris.

Veronica's dad is buying her a new watch this weekend

I'm going to call my dad today. He says he's going to give me money so I can get a new watch. I'm excited to talk to my dad.. I haven't talked to my dad in a week. I can't wait to get a new watch.

Rob got a new case for his sunglasses this morning from his house staff

Something happened to me this morning. My staff at my group home gave me a brown glass case. I put my sunglasses in it so the glass part of my sunglasses don't get scratched up. It is all brown, but I put designs on it with a piece of masking tape and a marker I put my name on it. I love my glass case. I had a hard time finding a place to put my sunglasses. And that's when this glass case stepped in. Now it's a easy place to put my sunglasses. The only season I won't carry my case is Winter. Because there is no sun out, just snow.

Adam watched the NY Rangers shutout the NJ Devils last nite

Game 1 of the eastern conference finals we kicked butt at MSG. Henrik got a shutout in the game and the devils lost 3-0.

I'm looking forward to interviewing Willy Wonka. I will be interviewing Willy Wonka in computer class. I want to ask him what is Willy Wonka's favorite candy. And what are his favorite songs to sing. I loved watching him in the movie. Computer class is great.

I'm going to see the musical South Pacific with my staff Matt, and my better half Peter. We are going to have a fun and wild day. I will purchase a CD from the show. Sometime in August I'll be going on a trip. The possible destinations for my trip are Knoxville, Tenn Canadaigua, NY, or Niagara Falls, NY. We will go on walks into town, to the museum, and the musical theater. I'll get gifts for people back home. I'm looking forward to going to the restaurants on my trip.

Adam watched the NY Rangers win a playoff game last night

Henrik Lunqvist was awesome in goal last night. He only let in two goals. Ryan Callahan scored the first goal of the game. Ryan Callahan got the broadway fedora after the game as the game's star. The final score of the game was 4-2. The Rangers lead the series 1-0 over the Senators. I'm hoping the Rangers win the cup this year.

Chris has a dynamic bedroom full of art

My room is a colorful cornucopia of many things. I have 60's VW buses, I would also like to get more astroturf. I have my kool-aid man comic book hanging up, and a land of the lost t-shirt. I also have electro woman and dyna girl pictures up. I have strips of astro turf laid on top of my green carpet. I first found the astro turf at Chase Pitkin in lawn furniture displays there. I want to make a lawn furniture display with a couple of Easter baskets on the table.

Today I am dressed up as a Army person as a tribute to the soldiers that fought for us. I pray for them. I even send holiday cards to them, like on St Patricks day, Easter, and for the female soldiers on mothers day. If I saw them come home I'd wave the American flag and say god bless the USA.

Veronica saw her nephew Xavier over Easter and had some great food

I went to my sister's on Easter. She cooked potatoes and ham. She baked a cake, it was white and big. I had some candy and saw some of my family. I saw my nephew Xavier, and he can walk now. I love Easter.

Rob joined a new basketball team and misses his old one

On Sunday I found what team I was on I'm on the team called The Wildcats. Not on the great tigers. That is a different team then mine. My team name is the Cougers,Wildcats, Grizzles, and the Thunders. I'm on the Wildcats. I didn't like it at first until the coach told me why he put me on the wildcats. He said that the wildcats need a person who can handle the ball very well so he chose me and some other people to go on for the wildcats not just me. Well my heart is with the grizzles. I'd played with the grizzles for 2 years I'm not so fond of the wildcats.

Adam is pulling for the Rangers in a tight playoff race

The NY Rangers are in the playoff race to be the best team with the best Captain Ryan Callahan in
the league. The Rangers are in 1st place with one week left to play. I hope they hold on.

Chris calls his bedroom '' The Psychedlic Easter Room''

I call my room the psychedelic Easter room. It has a mixture of colors in it. It has multi-colored lights starting with the lava lamp and the mood light. I also have a skittles wand. I also have astroturf on the floor set up around my room. I have a traffic light on the astroturf. It's very bright at night. My room is very ''loud'' in terms of colors.

I hope Syracuse wins. I would love to see Syracuse win it all this year. They have to win their next game against Ohio St to make the Final Four. I really like Scoop Jardine and Dion Waiters. Let's go Syracuse!

Carol is going to live with her mom in Syracuse and will miss everyone at the Cobblestone

I am going to live with my mom in Syracuse. This could happen in May or June. I'm very excited and happy to do this. But I will miss all my friends because I will be leaving the Cobblestone. I will miss Lori and all the staff here too.

Mary Beth went to see Beauty and the Beast this weekend

I went to see Beauty And The Beast yesterday. It was so funny. I enjoyed it. My favorite parts were the scene where they sang '' be our guests'' and '' the tale is as old as time''. I also liked '' I'll be human again''. The candlestick did a funny dance that I liked. I got an electric rose from a booth in Marcus Whitman high school. I love Beauty and the Beast.

I went shopping last night. We went shopping for my brother's baby's birthday. Then I came home and I colored. I have a big coloring book of princesses. My dad gave me the money to buy the coloring book. My dad called me last night and I asked him for money so I can get my haircut. I love my dad a lot.

I would like to talk about a network called the CW. I like the CW because they air show's like How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, And Family Guy. I like these shows because they inspire me because I can do commercial bumpers and advertisements for the shows well. I watch the CW a lot.

Joann went to a baby shower and a birthday party in the same day over the weekend

Last weekend I went to my mom's and spent the night on Saturday night. And on Sunday I went to the baby shower, I had good food there. My second cousin in-law got a lot of baby shower gifts. We celebrated my brothers birthday Sunday as well. We had cookie cake and I got him a card. We came home and waited for the next day.

Marcus favorite Syracuse player is Scoop Jardine

I wish I could watch the Syracuse game today. They are my favorite team. My favorite player on the team is Scoop Jardine. I also really like Brandon Triche. Scoop is a really good point guard and that's the position I play in basketball. I love Syracuse basketball.

Rob's nickname when he play's basketball is the '' Three Point Shooter''

My basketball practice is going to start up soon. I really love basketball. It's going to start up March 18th. I'm playing basketball through Special Olympics. I'm playing on a team called the Ontario Grizzlies. They call me the '' Three Point Shooter''. Sometimes I make it and sometimes I don't. I am so psyched about basketball starting.

Joann went to see the movie '' We Bought a Zoo'' on Saturday and gives it two thumbs up

Friday I went out to eat at Wegmans. I had a assorted meat sub with ham turkey and roast beef. Saturday I went to the movies. I saw the movie We Bought a Zoo. It was a cute movie. My favorite part was when they got approval to open the zoo up at the end. I had a good weekend.

Marcus is a huge fan of the UFC

I really like watching the UFC because it's really good and it's a really good sport. I like the fact that they combine all the martial arts and have people compete. My favorite fighter is Junior dos Santos. He is dangerous. He deserves the belt. I can't wait for his next fight coming up.

Veronica has a bothersome ear infection

I have an ear infection. The Dr gave me medicine for my ear. My ear really hurts. It started hurting last Thursday. Then I went to the Dr and he looked in my ear and saw it was infected. It's starting to feel better, and I'm glad.

Christine is going to her dad's birthday dinner this Saturday

Sunday I went out with my parents for lunch at Marks Pizzeria. I had a gluten free pizza with my diet Pepsi. My parents had a regular pizza with sausage and pepperoni. This Saturday we are going out to dinner for my dad's birthday dinner. I'm looking forward to going to my dad's birthday dinner. I like hanging out with my family.

Brendan is really happy he gets to see his friend Ann tomorrow

Tomorrow my friend Ann comes. I will go to the library with her and after the library we will make tater tots. We will also make a hamburger casserole that has vegetables in it. I like to have two helpings of tater tots. I am really happy I get to see Ann tomorrow.

Marcus is disappointed in the Buffalo Sabres season

The Buffalo Sabres aren't good this year. I'm disappointed they aren't going to the playoffs. I had high hopes for them this season. I have been praying for them to do well but they let me down. Maybe they will be good next year.

Adam is excited to visit his Grandfather in Florida tomorrow

Tomorrow I am flying down to Florida to see the Big guy and go on a cruise and celebrate big guys 85th birthday I am so pumped up to see the big guy.

Christine had a great time at the ARC dance

I had fun at the ARC dance last Saturday at St Patrick's church in Victor. I was dancing most of the time, the music was good. I was drinking a blueberry drink, it was really good. I loved it. The dance went from 5-9 at night. A lot of my friends were there. It was great.

Chris creates great works of art by making custom photographic scenes

My room is all spread out with colored lights. With decorations and collectables. I have a limited edition carnival movie. My room has astroturf in it. A third of my room is covered in astroturf. I have red, white, and blue stars. I have a skittles wand that I use in my photography. It's colorful and great for pictures. I have an art table in my room that I set up scenes for my photography. I custom make the scenes by putting little and big flower pots around an Easter basket. I set up a fence around the scene and I use a blue screen in the backround. Then I take the picture. I enjoy my work.

Marcus has joined a basketball league for the first time

I love playing special olympics basketball because it is one of my favorite sports. I have basketball practice tonight. I play the position of point guard. This is my first year in the league. I also love watching basketball on TV. My favorite player is Chris Paul. My favorite team is the Los Angeles Clippers. I love basketball.

You would have to peel Adam off the ceiling if he ever met Ryan Callahan

If i ever met Ryan Callahan you would have to peel me off the ceiling. I could meet him this year if the Rangers win the Stanley Cup because he would bring the cup home to Rochester.

Jamel's grandma does a lot for him

My grandma packs my lunches everyday. She says good bye to me every morning. She makes up my bed and she washes my clothes. When she wakes me up in the morning she tells me to wash up real good. She makes good dinners everyday. I love my grandma.

Joann is visiting her mom this Sunday after getting snowed in last Sunday

I'm going to my mom's house on Sunday. Because we got snowed in last week on Sunday I am going there this Sunday for dinner. We will prolly go to the dollar tree and I'll get some pop and snacks. We will prolly watch tv, and I'll visit with her, my sister, and my brother in law. I'll play with my mom's cat's and dog. I'm looking forward to seeing her.

Erin is saddened by the loss of Whitney Houston

It's sad what happened to Whitney Houston. It's like a repeat of Michael Jackson. I'm sad that her daughter doesn't have a mom anymore. She was so cute and popular a long time ago, just like Michael Jackson too. It's very sad.

Eric has gained confidence in his ability to dance

Dancing is giving me more confidence and making more up beat as I learn to dance. Kristin is helping me to dance better and learn to be a good dancer. She uses all different kinds of pop music to teach us with.

Stacy loves doing the Nate and Stacy act in music class

Papa likes to pick me up every single day. He takes me to shows to see people dancing. Nate is my favorite teacher of all time. I like it when Nate goes on the drum set and keeps a beat so people are dancing. He likes to sing and I like him to sing with me. So it's the Nate and Stacy act!

JoJo saw the show Shrek at the Auditorium Theater Saturday

I went to a show at the Auditorium Theater. The show is called Shrek. It was awesome and fantastic. I bought the Shrek book and the CD. My all time favorite character is the donkey and the big green Shrek! I also bought the Shrek doll. On Sunday we had a big Super Bowl party. They had a fantastic half-time show. I loved it. My team won the Super Bowl. I had an awesome time.

A Cobblestone student enjoys music because it gave her confidence

Music is my favorite class at cobblestone. Although I enjoy the songs we sing, our music teacher is what makes the class. He is very creative with coming up with his own songs and lets us share our announcements. I like to mostly share funny riddles. He likes to make people laugh and makes class fun for us by not taking it too seriously. But he also has a good heart and is a friend to all of us. When I first started here at cobblestone, I was to shy to talk but that all that changed when he brought in a joke book(my favorite!)and had me read a couple of them. I was happy that he helped me become more confident through doing something I was good at.

Mary Beth found out while watching the Super Bowl that she likes the commercials more then the actual game

I was watching the Super Bowl yesterday and I found out I like the commercials better then the game. They are so funny and entertain people. My favorite commercial was the polar bear commercial. I look forward to the commercials every year.

Brendan is going to Philadelphia for vacation in March

I am going to Philadelphia in March. I am going with my mom. Just a trip for fun. We are going to go to the museum and learn about the arts. We are going out to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We are going for two days and are driving there. I am looking forward to it.

Jamel is going to enjoy his delicious lunch packed by his grandmother today

What I have for lunch today is some carrots and celery, some cake, I also have two drinks which are one Powerade and one juice. I also have rib roast soup. My grandmother packs me my lunch every day. She packs awesome lunches. I love my grandmothers lunches.

Erin had a dissapointing night watching her Patriots lose the Super Bowl

I watched the Super Bowl last night. I was sad the pats lost. They are my favorite 2nd team,1st are the Dolphins. I thought they were going to win because they had control of the game. But NY took over the game and they won it, making me mad. Over all it was good night .

Adam loves his autographed Ryan Callahan jersey

I have an autograph hockey card and sweater from Ryan Callahan my favorite hockey player and hero. The autograph sweater is my most prized possession. I can't wait to show it off to everyone.

Laurie has a cat named Cameo that has a habit of sleeping in her wheelchair

My most favorite animal is a cat. I have a cat named Cameo. I found her name on the computer. I thought it was pretty cool I found her name on the computer. Cameo sleeps in my wheelchair while I sleep in my bed. It's her favorite spot to sleep. I think it's really funny she has a habit of sleeping in my chair. Cameo is my friend, she loves me as her owner. I share her with the rest of the people who live in my group home.

Rob is going to perform the waltz on Februrary 17th for the Cobblestone

I'm looking forward to ball room dancing for Cobblestone on February 17th. It will help me improve my dancing skills and my confidence to perform in front of a big audience. I will learn the fox trot, the box step, the cha cha, and the waltz. I did ball room dancing before but some how I kinda stopped. I found a flyer offering swing dancing, but my staff said since I stopped ball room dancing their is no reason for me to go. I'm looking forward to getting back to ball room dancing.

Brendan is looking forward to his respite weekend

I am going to get a CD of Chumbawumba at the Barnes and Noble in Pittsford Plaza with my gift card that I got for Christmas. I am also going to go shopping at Barnes and Noble for other CD's. What I like best at Barnes and Noble is they know me there and that makes me happy. I am also going to a respite lodge called Chestnut Ridge on the 11th and 12th. They go out on outings. They go to the store like the dollar tree, target, and also the mall. I have lot's of fun there. I listen to my CD's and I write. It's relaxing there. I am looking forward to going to respite.

Erin got loads of presents for her birthday

My b-day was so awesome. I went out for lunch with my Mom and out for dinner with my Mom and Lance who is my mom's boy friend, and my friend Chris. I got lots of chocolates, and a mini hipster to carry around my stuff in. Also, I got a kit you can make bracelet's with. I can't to use them.

Mary Beth had a fun weekend of karaoking

Saturday I went to karaoke and I sang five songs. The five songs I sang were Proud to be an American, Blackbird, The Climb, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, and Pokerface. And after that we played some games. We played a dance game where I did the robot and we played wipe out. We also had pizza there too. It was fun. I had a great weekend.

A Cobblestone student became more confident through sharing in her classes

Cobblestone arts center has been a great experience for me. I enjoy many activities it has to offer especially music. And also art,and outings to the mall.,and art galeries and concerts. I think that i have benefited most from public speaking. When I first started here I was too shy to talk and too nervous to share stuff with anyone. Through reading in small groups and a teacher having me read my favorites (funny jokes) I learned to be more confident in participating in sharing announcements. I hope to inspire others with doing the same.

Veronica is excited to visit her family in Puerto Rico

I like going to Puerto Rico on vacation. I am going back to visit very soon. I am going to see my dad and I'll stay in my room at my dad's house. I will go see brother, my uncle, my aunt, my niece and nephew while I'm there. My dad gives me money and I go shopping and get a coloring book. I miss my brother a lot. I am excited to go back to Puerto Rico.

Christine is going to make her own gluten free pizza tonight for dinner

Today at my group home we are making our own pizzas. I love pizza so much. They make put healthy things on my pizza which drives me nuts. They make me put broccoli, olives, and tomatoes on it. They just want us to be healthy. I just want pepperoni and cheese. My pizza will be specially made gluten free because I'm on a gluten free diet. My staff wants us to eat good stuff.

Jamel has lost 10 pounds on his new diet and exercise routine

I have started eating healthy foods. I have started eating healthy foods because I am able to lose more weight and that makes me feel good. I'm eating carrots, celery, green beans, and collard greens. I'm also eating some fruits like apples, pears, banana's, oranges, and kiwi. I'm exercising my arms, my legs, and my upper body to go along with this new diet. I've lost about 10 pounds on my new diet.

Chris will be busy this weekend doing his art photography

This weekend I'm going to put up a fence then I'm going to put the carpet down then some Easter eggs then I'll do my hen house picture. Then I'm going to take a picture of my skittles wand. For that I'm going to use low lights. I would also like to take a picture of Molly Shannon in Central Park with eggs and buildings around her, with her standing on synthetic grass. These are just some examples of art I love.

Erin's birthday is tomorrow

My birthday is tomorrow I will be 29 also I am going out for dinner at the Winfield and before that I am going the collet store. And I am taking my b-day off I am sleeping in and watching t.v. I asked for a massage for my birthday. I hope I will get one.

I am good at drums and I became good by watching Nate play drums. I would like Nate to play more drum's in class. When I watch Helana sing, I think she can do anything. She helps me learn how to sing. I like having talented teacher's.

Deepesh took a family trip to Pennsylvania this weekend

I had a good weekend. I watched the NFL playoffs. Me my brother and my friends watched it. They were exciting games. I went to Pennsylvania on Friday and went to the mall there on Saturday. We went to Bon-Ton. My mom bought me new pants and a new hat and bought my brother a Penn St fleece. We ate too much. I love taking trips.

JoJo baked a gigantic cookie this weekend

Over the weekend I made a huge cookie. The biggest cookie I've ever made. It took up almost the whole pan. It was a raisin, apple, and cinnamon cookie. Me, my housemates and staff ate it together. And it was delicious. It took us a few hours to make because we had to chop everything up and mix it in a bowl together. I enjoy baking a lot.

Jamel is learning how to keep a good attitude

I'm learning how to keep a good attitude. I'm doing that by not getting upset, not getting mad, talking in a calm voice, and trying to calm down. I started trying to have a better attitude so I can see things more clearly. My mother is helping me do this. It's benefiting me.

Joann is going to go all out at dinner on ''Takeout Friday'' at her supervised apartment

At my supervised apartment every Friday we get takeout. We get subs, pop, and chips. I love where I live. I get along with everybody. I love my staff members, they are really really nice and fun to be with. We go place, we go to the movies and shopping at Wal-Mart. We have good dinners there. Yesterday we had pork chops, yellow rice, corn, and salad. I enjoy living there.

Adam cried during and after Wayne Gretzky's last hockey game

It was April 18th 1999 and the greatest player in hockey took his final bow on the garden ice. He didn't score any goals that game but he recorded his final assist. Who is better then Wayne Gretzky? The answer is no one. He is the best there ever was. I cried during and after his last game because I knew he wasn't coming back. He was the greatest to ever wear a Rangers sweater. Wayne Gretzky is my all time favorite hockey player.

Veronica is looking forward to her family gathering this weekend

Mark talks about his road back from brain surgery

I have had two brain tumors removed from my brain. One in 1979 and one in 1986.the brain tumors gave me epilepsy, diabetes inisipidus. And I also have to take about 30 pills a day in the morning and at night. I did a lot of rehab all over the city of Rochester. I worked really hard in each rehab I went to and I made alot of improvement. I am definitely glad that I worked to this point.

Jamel's goal is to interview author Maurice Sendak

My goal is to interview the author Maurice Sendak in computer class. That's my goal because he wrote Where The Wild Things Are and that's one of my favorite books. One of the questions I'm going to ask him is what was your inspiration for that book. It's been my goal for a long time to interview him.

I am excited to interview an author in computer class. I'm excited because author's are a different kind of person. They are creative and really into books. I am thinking about what questions I am going to ask them. I am going to ask how fun it is to be them. I love to be creative.

JoJo made a whole pan of soft and chewy brownies

I made chocolate fudge brownies yesterday. I made a whole pan. It didn't take me long at all, only 10 minutes. I make really good delicious brownies. They are soft and chewy and fattening. After I made brownies I did my stretches like I always do. My best thing that I make is egg plant parmesan. I make it really good.

Matt loves volunteering at the Humane Society

I love volunteering at the Humane Society in Lyons. I enjoy walking the dogs and taking care of the cats. I'm glad to help out wherever they need me to. My favorite animal there to take care of is a black lab named Roxy. She is fun to be around. I love animals.

Laurie eats like a queen at her group home

At my group home the food is pretty good. Actually, today for lunch I got salmon for lunch. They serve a lot of chicken and fish and steak for dinner. When the special times come we got apple crisp, Jello cake, peach cobbler, peanut butter pie and my favorite peanut butter parfaits with chocolate pudding and peanut butter. We keep on having good healthy food at my house.

Tracie loves her books on tape she recieved for Christmas

The Christmas gift I love the most that I got this year are books on tape. It's relaxing listening to them and it educates me. One book on tape I got was '' What it takes to be a lawyer''. It's really interesting. I listen to my books on tape on weekends when I have free time. I look forward to getting more gifts like that.

Stacy is the best player on her basketball team

My basketball team is doing good. We are in 1st place and are 6-0. I am the best player on the team. Last game I had 26 points and 21 rebounds. I am best at shooting 3 pointers and layups. My team name is the Wildcats and we play games all around the counties. I like to play basketball.

Erin is planning her mom's 60th birthday party

On March 10th on a Saturday I'm having a surprise birthday party for my mom. She will be the big 6-0. I'm going to have lot's of people over. I'm going to go to Wegmans and buy a chocolate and vanilla cake. I'm going to have pepperoni and cheese and crackers also. I hope my mom won't see this, sometimes she looks at it.

Sara is planning a fun Disney trip with her family

I am very excited that I was independent enough to save and earn enough money to go to Disney World. I want my grandpa and my mom to go with me. I want to stay at a resort or a hotel in the middle of Disney. The first day at Disney World I'd like to visit the animal area, go on lot's of rides and actually take my grandpa and mom out to dinner for once. Then we will go to sleep and the next day I will take video's and photo's of all the Disney characters I see. And look at all of the different shops and sites that are around. After that I will just have fun till I go home.

Shirley is excited about the new theater being built

I like to be with my friends at the Cobblestone. If I ever have a problem anything I can talk to the staff and they always help me. They are starting to make the theater and I'm very happy about it. We are doing a performance in the spring about animals. When we go on field trips to the mall and exercise it relaxes me. It always makes me feel good. I enjoy coming to Cobblestone.

Adam loved seeing his family in New Jersey last weekend

I have a bracelet autographed by my favorite goaltender in the whole league and the best goaltender in the whole league Henrik Lundqvist. I got it at the Woodbridge Mall last Saturday in New Jersey. During the trip I stayed at my grandma's the whole time. Sunday I saw my uncle and my cousin and his wife and kid. I love seeing my family in New Jersey

Rob is having fun in dance class learning the rockin robin

Today I'm learning a dance with the other boys. Kristin is teaching us to dance the rockin robin performed by The Jackson Five. Some of the moves were fun. She had us flapping our arms like wings. It was a pretty cool to learn this dance. The girls have their piece called '' Feed the Birds'' from Mary Poppins. The girls piece was graceful, while the boys piece was rockin out. When you try out this dance you will have a lot of fun.

Brendan has a full week of activities ahead

Tomorrow is Library day for me. I'm looking forward to seeing my friends there. On Library day I go in there and find cool stuff. I always bring him cool DVD's from the library. On Wednesdays is shopping day for me. I buy CD's and DVD's at the Record Archive. I go to the Record Archive with my friend. He likes to travel with me. And on Friday my friend Ann comes and we have fun together. I have a fun week ahead.

Deepesh had a nice family weekend

Saturday I went to my uncles house for dinner and I had Indian food. My parents and me and my brother went. Sunday I went to church from 430-630 and had dinner there. Then I got home and watched the game with my family. I'm glad Tebow won. I had a good weekend.

Chrissy made up her own dance she calls '' Chrissy Dancing''

I like to dance. I made up my own dance where I hop up and down and put one foot in front of the other. I call it '' Chrissy Dancing''. I usually do it in dance and music class. I like doing Chrissy Dancing to Michael Jackson music the most. I have fun Chrissy Dancing.

I'm doing the song Buffalo Soldier for the performance in the spring. I'm doing the song because it talks about the animals. The reason I chose this song is because I want to learn it. The song is by Bob Marley. He is singing something about history. He talks about fighting for survival. And he's talking about just being a Buffalo Soldier. I'm a fan of Bob Marley.

Laurie is going to Florida to visit her parents

I'm going to Florida soon. Every year me, my sister, my brother in-law, and my two nephews fly down to go see my parents in Florida for a week. Every day we take it one step at a time. One day we go some where the next day we stay home. We plan out the week what we want to do. This year we are going to the dolphin rehab hospital in Tampa. I love dolphins and we can all go as a family. We have been going down there for about 5 years now. How my parents got this place was my dad gave it to my mom for her birthday one year. I hope I enjoy my trip.

Joann finally got her 32 inch flat screen for Christmas

I finally got my 32 inch flat screen TV for Christmas. I thought I would be getting a 20 inch but my mom surprised me. I got a camcorder digital camera. I got DVD holders for DVD's. I got a new Eeyore shirt that says make me smile. I got a new blue hooded sweatshirt. I had an awesome Christmas.

This weekend I'm going to the movies with my father. We are going to go see The Muppets. The Muppets are really funny and I like Kermit the Frog. I also tried the Muppets collection of fingernail polish. I have all the Muppet movies ever made. I am a huge fan of The Muppets.

Erin is now a staff assistant in art class

I'm a staff assistant with Leigh now in art class. I got to help her in art class in 1st and 2nd period. I help her clean up after classes. I also help her get ready for classes. Leigh talked to Helana about having me in there because I'm really good at art. I really love my job.

Adam eat, sleeps, and breathes NY Rangers hockey

I eat, sleep, and breath the NY Rangers. I started becoming a fan of the Rangers in 1996. I started becoming a fan of them because they are a great team and they had the greatest leader in sports in Mark Messier. The best part about being a fan of the Rangers is going to Madison Square Garden and seeing a game. The atmosphere is great. Everyone is chanting '' Let's go Rangers!''. I feel at home in Garden at more then any hockey rink.

Matt had a great holiday season

I got a lot of dog stuff for Christmas. I got a calender with dogs on it and a bunch of dog post it pads. I also got one of the shirts I have on today. A green long sleeve shirt. I like it. On new years I stayed up and watched the ball drop till 1 in the morning. Then I went to bed. I had a nice holiday season.

Deepesh had a great New Years Eve weekend with family

I enjoyed new years eve it was good. I liked watching Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga. Then we went out for Chinese. Sunday morning I had breakfast and lunch with my brother and my mom and dad. I went to church Sunday afternoon. Church was good. We had dinner at church. We had tacos and rice. I had a great new years eve weekend.

JoJo had a great time on new years with her housemates

I went to a new years eve party. And I had sparkling grape juice, hors d'oeuvres, I also had some shrimp. My housemates and staff were at the party. We sat around and ate and talked and played music. And then we counted down till the ball dropped. Then after that I went home and played on the computer for awhile till I went to bed. That was my new years.

Mary Beth is seeing the benefits of her exercise program

When I started doing my exercises it was hurting in my legs. But now I am noticing improvements when I do my exercises. I do the exercise bike for 12 minutes. I feel really good when I'm done. The exercises make me feel better about myself. I feel more hopeful to get healthy.

Rob is very happy the Giants beat the Cowboys to make the playoffs

Whenever I watch TV and the Giants play I always have faith in my team the NY Giants to make it to the playoffs. It was so cool when the Giants beat the Cowboys to get into the playoffs. Eli the Quarterback is the best. He really brought his ''A'' game on. He really showed Tony Romo a thing or two. When any team goes against the Giants, The Giants will be on a rampage stopping anyone from scoring any touchdowns. I am a big Giants fan.

Laurie is excited to get out of the house while everyone else has the day off

I was excited this morning to get out of the house because everyone else has the day off. I know Cobblestone is important to me because I've been here for a long long time. My top 3 favorite classes are Music class, Computer class and Art class. My first title is to be a student here and do what they want me to do sometimes and my second title is staff assistant and I help the teacher and sometimes help students. I love coming here everyday.
