Veronica enjoyed being a oompa-loompa in the Willy Wonka performance

I liked the performance yesterday. I liked it because I like to sing and dance. My mom couldn't come because my nephew was sick. I was an oompa -loompa in the performance. It was fun. I danced with Vanessa. I like Vanessa. She is my teacher. Everyone had a good time.

A Cobblestone student became more confident through sharing in her classes

Cobblestone arts center has been a great experience for me. I enjoy many activities it has to offer especially music. And also art,and outings to the mall.,and art galeries and concerts. I think that i have benefited most from public speaking. When I first started here I was too shy to talk and too nervous to share stuff with anyone. Through reading in small groups and a teacher having me read my favorites (funny jokes) I learned to be more confident in participating in sharing announcements. I hope to inspire others with doing the same.

Erin is now a staff assistant in art class

I'm a staff assistant with Leigh now in art class. I got to help her in art class in 1st and 2nd period. I help her clean up after classes. I also help her get ready for classes. Leigh talked to Helana about having me in there because I'm really good at art. I really love my job.

Deepesh enjoy's all aspects of the cobblestone program

I enjoy Kristin's exercise class Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I enjoy Sarah Gullo's class on Tuesday. I enjoy Lori Benson's class on Thursdays. Art class is doing very good. We are learning new things like the Seussical theme. We do computer's where I do blogs. I like the blog. There is no drama in this program. We respect each other like human beings.

Laurie turns one of her dreams into a painting in art class

One night I had a dream that my cat was helping me build my house. She painted it all different colors such as red, green and blue. I decided to make it a painting in art class. I drew the house and painted it the colors my cat painted it in my dream. It took me 2 weeks or so to finish. It was one of the longest projects I ever did. Art class is when I get creative a lot, and I love doing the projects.

What I enjoy most about the cobblestone is gaining experience and I enjoy singing a lot. I enjoy doing art. I enjoy doing music. And I enjoy doing exercise. I have grilled chicken and sausage gumbo for lunch. I enjoy the food my grandma makes. She gives me a lot of food because I need to keep healthy.

Joann loves the cobblestone

I love all my friends at cobblestone. They are all really cool to hang out with. I love the teachers they are really cool and I love to do their classes. I love arts and crafts the most. I love sewing and making art projects. It makes the day go really fast.

Drew likes his newest art project

The new art project is really fun. We cut paper flowers and then pasted them on a piece of paper and then trace it on a piece of glass and then paint it. It was fun doing different flowers and looking up different kinds of flowers. I'm looking forward to showing it at the show.
