Christine is welcomed back to the cobblestone after a lengthy surgery recovery time

I haven't been to the cobblestone since Thanksgiving because I had surgery. I've had a pacemaker since I was 19 and they had to put a new battery in it. They put me to sleep and after they did that they put in IV in my hand. I went home the next morning and they got me a nice teddy bear. I've been home resting ever since. I'm glad to be back at the cobblestone.

Mary Beth sponsors a missionary from India

Tonight I am going to a fundraiser at my church. We are doing a dinner to raise money. We are raising money for the missionaries. I sponsor a missionary over seas through Gospel of Asia. The person I sponsor is from India and she is a girl. I am going to the movies Saturday to see the muppets with my niece. Sunday I am going to a sports banquet for the Special Olympics. I have lot's to do this weekend.

Jamel is glad his sister is ok after going to the hospital

I'm glad my sister is ok even though she's at the hospital. My family went to see her last night in the hospital and I was worried. My grandmother said she was ok and that makes me feel better. My grandma said my sister will be back soon. I can't wait to see her.

Joe is interested in learning sign language

I am interested in learning sign language. I practice Wednesdays here at the cobblestone. I would like to get good enough to hold a conversation with someone in sign language. I am trying to learn Christmas carol's in sign language. My goal is to get everybody learning sign language. I love learning a new language.

Tracie get's lot's of benefits from her physical therapy

I like my physical therapy. It keeps me moving and active. It's interesting to me because they educate me on my muscles and how they work. They also educate me on the right foods to eat, stretching exercises I should at home and how often I should stretch. It makes me feel better about myself.

Eric is inspired by his music teacher Nate to become a good singer

I am becoming a singer. I want to be somebody famous. I'm focusing on my vocal warm up's on my own. I also practice with Nate and Helana in music class. I want to follow in Nate's footsteps in making CD's and writing songs. Nate is my mentor, he helps me sing and focus on what song I want to sing. He inspires me by having me sing solo's in music class to show me how good I can be. I love singing.

Joann is having lunch this weekend with a old friend

Me and my friend are going out to lunch on Saturday. I haven't seen her in over 15 years. We are going to a nice restaurant. We might go to Chili's or Red Robin. I'm going to get a cheeseburger, fries, maybe onion rings, and a diet coke. We are going window shopping and catch up on what's been going on in our lives. Her daughter is coming with us too. And we are going to have a great time!
